Hello, my name is Roberta Aversa. I am a UKCP-registered attachment-based psychoanalytic psychotherapist. Before completing the Bowlby Centre’s clinical training programme, a I studied at the London Centre for Psychotherapy.
I work Monday-Friday and can offer appointments once or twice weekly.
I deliver sessions in person, over the telephone, or via video link, in English or Italian.
My consulting room is not far from St James Street Overground/bus routes 230, 58, 158 and W19.
Please note that I have resumed in person sessions for clients that are able to attend in person.

Before completing my training, I was a magazine journalist specialising in features about health, fitness and wellbeing. I also co-founded a forum for parent carers of disabled children.

I work Monday-Friday in Chapel End, just off Chingford Road, handy for the A406 (North Circular) and a quick bus ride (34, 97, 215 or 357) or 20 mins walk from Walthamstow Central station. I am also continuing to work remotely (video calls or phone) with clients who would prefer to stay online or who are not within comfortable travelling distance.
